At Dear Groomer, we prioritise coat and skin health, sustainability and your pet’s welfare. We offer a gentle, calm and holistic experience for your pet. We aim to deliver great results without creating unnecessary stress to your dog or compromising the health of their coat.
All our shampoos, sprays and conditioners are vegan, cruelty-free, free of silicones and parabens, and are biodegradable. And are generally gentle enough for most skin types. Although we recommend our oatmeal and coconut shampoo for sensitive skins. We only use grain-free freeze dried treats.

CAT GROOMING SERVICES
Fear-free handling
We use fear-free handling techniques and will never scruff your fur baby during the grooming process. We use utilise positive reinforcements like treats and short breaks to minimise the stress of the grooming process. We groom one cat at a time and never have two in the same room unless they are from the same household.Experienced cat groomer
I have previous experience working in vet clinics, I am very knowledgeable in cat behaviour and dealing with anxious felines. I will always put the cat's wellbeing first and aim to minimise the stress they experience.

*Moderately matted means less than 2/3 of the body in matts without any matts on the belly, face or neck
We are unable to safely groom severely matted cats due to the elevated risk of cuts, clipper irritation, stress on the cat, overheating, and risk to the groomer. We request that you talk to your vet.

Sustainability
- Clean (post-wash) fur is upcycled into crafts for knitting, crochet, and felting
- Waste fur is composted or used as mulch for gardens- We recycle and reuse as much as possible and limit single use plastic- All our conditioners, shampoos and sprays are made from non-toxic, natural and biodegradable ingredients.- Our electricity supplier, is certified Climate Positive Carbon Zero with power from 100% renewable sources.
